The Alabama Cooperative Extension Systems New Non-Traditional Urban Unit, at Alabama A&M University, operates the Agribition Center. The facility boasts a unique combination of facilities and services that provides opportunities to enhance the School’s academic programs by providing hands-on experiences for students majoring in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Nutrition and Hospitality Management, and other program areas. The Cooperative Extension System, and other campus and community agencies also use the Agribition Center to meet their outreach program goals and objectives.
The multipurpose facility is located on 42 acres and can be rented for various public
activities such as, dog agility and obedience trials, horse shows, expositions, rodeos,
craft fairs, livestock shows, class reunions, meetings, receptions, and much more.
The design and intent of the Agribition Center is to be versatile enough to hold almost
any type of event. The limitation is a person’s imagination.
